Cue up your John Hughes nostalgia for the SXSW Film premiere of the newly remastered version of The Breakfast Club, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Adding to the fun will be the appearance of cast members Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy, who will conduct a special Q&A prior to the screening.

This Brat Pack classic takes place over the course of one daylong Saturday detention, during which several distinctive teen “types” have been thrust together. By dinnertime, their flaky crusts have thawed.

The Breakfast Club screens Monday, March 16, at 12:15pm at the Paramount Theatre. See www.sxsw.com for badge info.
