This inaugural outdoor alternafest has something for everyone, including Club de Ville Fashion Show emcee Joel Mozersky, music by Karen Poston, and a snooty critics and filmmmakers panel. The films include the animated short “Fish Queen” by Craig Godwin, documentary short “Sign Language” by Rachel Proctor, narrative short “High Shame” by Gail Chovan, documentary short “Remember Pearl Harbor” by James Takata, a trailer called “Shame on the Run,” and the feature presentation of Dogs Bark. Festivities begin at 6pm, the movies start at sundown, and the feature should go on about 8:30pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and be advised that the rain date is the following day, March 12.
