On the hottest day in Austin, under the spell of a full moon, six couples wander about Austin “and continually return to the tobacco/coffee shop Ruta Maya,” then located in the city’s downtown. The spirit of Stevie Ray Vaughan guides their lost souls. The movie, which screened at Slamdance 1996, is being shown in honor of Ruta Maya’s 10-year anniversary.
