The Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival (aGLIFF) presents one of the favorites from the recent festival in this monthly series that screens on the first Tuesday of every month. Rock the Boat is a documentary that chronicles the inspiring true story of 11 HIV-positive men (four of whom had full-blown AIDS) who join together to compete in the grueling 2,000 mile, 10-day, Trans-Pacific Yacht Race from Los Angeles to Hawaii. Much was learned about the bounds of their survival skills, human vulnerability, and group cooperation.
