The Mary Woronov classics, Rock N Roll High School (PG, 93min.) and Death Race 2000 (78 min., R), are on a double bill with the cult actress in attendence to present the films properly. Also on the evening’s program is music by the Pallbearers and Sons of Hercules beginning at 6pm. The films begin at 8pm and will be punctuated with lots of Roger Corman trailers. Classic cars from the Kontinentals Car Club will be on display. Food and drink will be available and the audio for the films will be broadcast via FM transmitter (so make sure you have a functioning FM radio with you). For those who choose not to drive and/or prefer sitting outside, traditional audio will be run as well.
(In the event of rain, the event will be held on the same evening at Alamo Drafthouse Downtown at 7pm. There will be no refunds if the show defaults to the rainout contingency.) For an interview with Mary Woronov se p. XX in this week’s Screens section.
