This fabulous silent spectacle provides the perfect backdrop for the gracefully athletic physical stunts of Douglas Fairbanks Sr. Robin Hood may be the best surviving example of his marvelous prowess, and the storyline about robbing from the rich in order to give to the poor possesses a timeless quality. In what has become something of an Austin tradition, the Paramount hosts Gillian Anderson conducting a live orchestra as the musical accompaniment.
