Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky

Reported to be the most quintessentially over-the-top kung-fu flick ever made, Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky combines images of violent excess with generous amounts of humor. Gory things are done to old men and animals, strangulations are conducted with human intestines, and a glass eye dispenses mints – you get the idea. The story revolves around a strong but outraged prisoner and an evil warden. New prints have been struck so that all the grisly gore will be delivered intact.
