Weve heard plenty of Austin filmmakers wax rhapsodic about the feeling they got the first time they saw their film unspool at the Paramount Theatre. Heres your chance to make sure more Austin filmmakers get a shot at that good feeling.
The Paramount, in need of some pretty significant renovations, is currently in the running for a $25,000 grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. All you need to do is vote is go to the website, find the thumbtack for the Paramount on the map, double click on it, and then vote. It’ll take two minutes of your time, tops.
And hurry voting closes tonight.
