Nosferatu Video Release Party celebrates the Alamo Drafthouse’s wonderful two and a half years of presenting silent movies with live accompaniment by local musicians, a program that began with a production of F.W. Murnau’s 1922 vampire motherlode, Nosferatu. Now a 70-minute video of the film with a digitally mastered soundtrack by Austin’s Brown Whörnet has been released and will premiere at this video release party. Discounted copies of the video will be on sale at the show, and admission also includes a special bag of spooky treats including an audio CD of selected tracks from the video.
