For two full seasons now, the Austin Film Festival‘s On Story has been bringing great interviews with filmmakers on the process of storytelling, and now it’s back for round three.

In this new season, audiences can look forward to interviews with the greats behind such hits as The Bourne Ultimatum, The Avengers, X-Men: First Class, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, and more. The writers will talk about penning dramatic action scenes, parsing heroes and villains, and faithfully adapting classics. In the first episode, you’ll meet Chris Carter and Damon Lindelof, the creative minds behind The X-Files and Prometheus, respectively.

The show has grown dramatically from its local roots. When the series was renewed for its second season last year, it also expanded to 70 stations in 41 markets. And now, heading into season three, that number has grown even bigger: On Story now reaches 150-plus stations in 75 markets across 25 states.

Tune in tonight to see what’s made it such a huge success.

On Story‘s third season premieres tonight at 7:30pm on KLRU Q. Visit the show’s website for more information or to catch up on old episodes.
