NALIP is conducting its fourth annual conference in San Antonio this weekend, Nov. 7-10. Anticipated attendees include director Miguel Arteta (The Good Girl), Edward James Olmos, and Diego Luna (Y Tu Mamá También) and will also showcase some of the best emerging and community-based producers, plus provide an up-close look at how we are training the next generation of Latino media makers.
Additionally, NALIP will honor Austin-based producer Elizabeth Avellán (Spy Kids) with an Outstanding Achievement award, Ricardo Montalban will be recognized for his advocacy on behalf of Latinos in the media, and esteemed public television producer Eduardo Moreno will be recognized as an Industry Pioneer.
