In recognition of the release of Man on the Moon, The Alamo Drafthouse and The Show With No Name present this spoof of Louis Malle’s My Dinner With Andre, along with a series of rare Kaufman film clips, live appearances, game show cameos, Letterman appearances, and short features. Directed by the notorious Johnny Legend (movie producer, director, archivist, star, and rockabilly singer), My Breakfast With Blassie was shot over breakfast at Sambo’s with Kaufman and wrestling figure Fred Blassie. The print comes from Legend’s private collection; the other assorted goodies come from The Show With No Name.
