Director Mallard will be on hand to discuss the making of this film that examines the relationships among three generations of African-American women. The women include a recovering drug addict with HIV, her seven-year-old daughter, and her stern mother. The film has previously played at SXSW. This film and discussion series is a monthly event sponsored by the Center for the Study of Gift Economy.
