I’ll be honest: I totally teared up at this video of Saturday night’s Mondo Mystery Movie IX Dawn of the Dead event.
That is some pure, unadulterated joy on the faces of ticketholders, who had no idea what they were getting into when they boarded a bus to god knows where (Highland Mall, turned out). What they got was the stuff super-gory movie dreams are made of.
