Multi-award-winning film from Thai director Ratanaruang (Mon-Rak Transistor) also features the always outstanding cinematography of Christopher Doyle and an acting performance by the notorious Japanese director Takeshi Miike as a yakuza crime boss. The film tells the story of a Japanese librarian, suicide fetishist, and former yakuza who lives in Bangkok.
