The Documentary Showcase is a program of film shorts, many of which were made by Austinites. Film topics range from the evolution of riot grrrls and the creation of the first Ladyfest to skateboarding, midwifery, nudism, and feminist pornography. Included works: “Don’t Need You” by Kerri Koch, “Sam, Age 11” by Elizabeth Skadden, “Distorted Images” by Monica Mehta, “A Midwife Experience” by Elizabeth Lepe, “Unwrapped” by Ashley Nicole Cook and Mike Gomez, “Live and Let Ride” by Tara Cooper, “The Lancebian” by Jenn Garrison, and “Hot and Bothered” by Becky Goldberg.
