The Austin Chronicle is an independent, locally owned and operated alternative newsweekly that reflects the heart and soul of Austin, Texas.
This French sensation, about a gay couple who pose as straight during a ticklish family moment, was an adaptation of a successful French play. Two sequels were also made in France, and the movie was remade in America in 1996 as The Birdcage with Robin Williams and Nathan Lane.
