This documentary explores the reasons why people hate and commit hate crimes, and seeks solutions to this ever-growing problem within our society. The filmmakers investigate the murder of Matthew Shepard, the gay college student who was viciously murdered for his sexuality in Wyoming, and also talks with survivors of James Byrd Jr., the black man who was dragged to death in Texas, and relatives of the high school students who were gunned down in Colorado. Additionally, former neo-Nazi T.J. Leydon contributes to the film, as well as Elton John and Touched by an Angel’s John Dye. See www.newlightmedia.org or call 323-6691 for more info.
