Born with a hormonal malady that impeded his physical development, Scott has ironically discovered his misfortune to be an unusual career boon. His divine but idiosyncratic voice has a beauty beyond compare, and is one that intrinsically questions assumptions about sexual identity. The film is a mixture of performance by Scott and commentary by friends, associates, and biographer David Ritz.
