Kameo: Elements of Power

Microsoft Game Studios/Rare $49.99

Aimed more toward the younger gamer, shape-shifting Kameo roams a mythical world, battling trolls as she tries to save her family. Half the challenge of this by-the-book adventure game is in choosing what form best suits any given situation. I recommend transforming into Chilla if you have the need to impale trolls on your back and then use their bodies to bludgeon other trolls. Certainly not as fast paced as PDZ, Kameo uses a different visual palette to create astoundingly dense visuals. Exploration and problem-solving combined with nimble fingers will make quick work of this game.
