We’re starting to wonder if Joe O’Connell has a cot set up on the streets of Granger, Texas: The former Chron Film News columnist and award-winning author has been obsessively filing images from the Coen Brothers’ True Grit set.

This week’s gallery? A good old-fashioned hanging!

In addition to some fun looks at how Granger has been de-modernized, O’Connell reports that the shooting in Granger should wrap tomorrow; the production will then move to Blanco for courthouse scenes.
