This documentary follows the men of Shamrock, Texas – and one hairy outsider – as they compete in the town’s annual Beard Growing Contest. Since 1938, it’s been a tradition in Shamrock to grow a beard from New Year’s Day to St. Patrick’s Day. But not just any beard: a Donegal beard.
