Goodbye, Dragon Inn
2003, NR, 82 min.
Directed by Tsai Ming-liang, Starring Lee Kang-sheng, Chen Shiang-chyi, Mitamura Kiyonobu, Miao Tien.

The director of strange yet compelling films I Don’t Want to Sleep Alone and The Hole weaves this story about our attraction to and hesitation before the moving images on our movie screens. The story takes place during the final screening of a kung-fu classic at a dilapidated Taiwanese movie theatre that will subsequently close. All the characters fumble to find something in the dark.
