Claudia Weill’s movie seemed almost revolutionary in 1978 when it was first released. It’s a small movie that made a big splash with its focus on women’s interior lives. And just look at the cast ­ it only improves with time. Mayron plays a woman facing life on her own when her best girlfriend and roommate moves out to get married.
