For fans of John Green’s beautifully wrought, teens-with-cancer weepie The Fault in Our Stars, the film adaptation’s opening date of June 6 can’t get here soon enough. So how does May 22 sound instead?

Forever Fest announced today a free sneak preview of the film at 12 national Alamo Drafthouse locations, including Austin’s Alamo Lakeline. In attendance at the Lakeline screening will be author/screenwriter John Green and director Josh Boone, and they’ll take part in a Q&A conducted by Forever Fest’s Brandy Fons and Sarah Pitre. The Q&A will be live-simulcast in all the Alamo locations as well as on the POPSUGAR Girls’ Guide YouTube channel. Other participating theatres include Alamo Drafthouse Vintage Park (Houston, TX), Alamo Drafthouse Stone Oak (San Antonio, TX), Alamo Drafthouse Richardson (Richardson, TX), Alamo Drafthouse Marketplace (New Braunfels, TX), Alamo Drafthouse Mainstreet (Kansas City, MO), Alamo Drafthouse Littleton (Littleton, CO), Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers (Yonkers, NY), Alamo Drafthouse Winchester (Winchester, VA), Alamo Drafthouse One Loudoun (Ashburn, VA), and Alamo Drafthouse Kalamazoo (Kalamazoo, MI). (But only the Austin audience also gets their nails done by Nails Y’all.)
