Meet the star of the 1989 instructional video "Ventriloquism For Fun & Profit," which is part of this year's FFF slate

VHS junkies Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett stop off in Austin tonight with two screenings of Found Footage Festival 5.

The Found Footage Festival is devoted to preserving video oddities – you know, instructional videos, workout cassettes, public access shows, the like. Sometimes creepy, sometimes sad, but always very, very funny. Scroll down for a teaser of this year’s show. (Ewwww, was that Sandy Dennis in the leotard?)

This year’s program also includes a screening of “Heavy Metal Parking Lot,” the 1986 underground doc about Judas Priest fans gathering pre-show in a Maryland concert arena’s parking lot.

Screenings take place at 7 and 9:35pm tonight at the Alamo Ritz. Go here for ticket info.
