Presented by HIMAL, a Kathmandu-based nonprofit, this traveling showcase features 15 documentaries from the Film South Asia Festival in Kathmandu. Films include “The Killing Terraces,” about the burgeoning Maoist movement in the hills of Nepal, and “While a Sun Sets In,” which examines religious intolerance in modern Pakistan. This event is co-sponsored by the Austin chapter of the Association for India’s Devlopment and the University of Texas departments of Asian Studies and Radio/Television/Film.
