Film Action IV by Luke Savisky and the Golden Arm Trio is a combined presentation of Savisky’s unique film collages and light projections with the music of local soundscape artists, Golden Arm Trio. Savisky’s multiprojector film/installation/performance pieces are constructed from 16 & 35mm film loops that are layered to create improvisational “movies” ñ kind of a light show with content. The experience is wholly unique and thoroughly intoxicating. The Golden Arm Trio has distinguished themselves during the Alamo’s Movies & Music series with their original scores for Battleship Potemkin and The Wind.
