With the success of Favor, the food and sundries delivery service, one of the few things left that can’t be delivered to your door is the lifeblood of Austin, alcohol. Well that drought is about to end with the introduction of Drizly to our buzzed burg.
That’s right, everything from beer to wine to liquor to mixers are just a click or tap away. That’s assuming you live within the delivery radius which includes Barton Springs, Downtown, South Congress, Tarrytown, West Campus, and Zilker. If so and you’re feeling parched or perhaps your boss is pissing you off at work just go online and get that sweet nectar delivered right to your waiting maw in 20 to 40 minutes. Anyone who places an order before Oct. 7 receives free delivery on their next seven orders. Tipping is, of course, highly recommended.
Austin is the seventh market of operation for Drizly and those towns (e.g., Boston, Chicago, New York City) have yet to drink themselves into oblivion. That’s a good sign, although one should never underestimate Austin’s ability to imbibe.
Go to their website or download the Drizly app for Apple and Android devices and stop traveling outside your home for drinking. No, wait, that actually sounds kinda sad. You should get out now and again, but when you have a party beverage emergency or just streamed a really intense episode of Gilmore Girls, Drizly is there for you.
