Drafthouse Films has acquired North American distribution rights to Wrong, Quentin Dupieux’s followup to Rubber (which you may remember as: That Homicidal Tire Movie).
Wrong, which premiered at Sundance 2012, is about a regular guy (Reno 911!’s Jack Plotnick on a quest to find his missing dog, which brings him into contact with an assortment of oddballs (including William Fichtner, pictured here).
Drafthouse Films is on quite a run: The well-received Danish comedy Klown is currently in theatres and on VOD and The Ambassador, a stunt-doc/performance art piece that’s seriously pissing off the Liberian government, opens later this month.
Wrong is slated for a 2013 release. In the meantime, you can download two free tracks from the soundtrack by Mr. Oizo (Dupieux’s stage name) and Tahiti Boy here.
