This version of Bram Stoker’s enduring vampire story was shot at the same time and on the same sets as Tod Browning’s more famous Dracula starring Bela Lugosi, but at night and with a different cast and crew for a Spanish-speaking audience. Interestingly, this one didn’t have conform to Hays Code restrictions.
