An hour and change into Elektra Luxx‘s premiere last night at the Paramount, projection issues put an abrupt end to the film. A do-over screening has been set tonight – but you’d best line up early.

The makeup date is tonight (3/15) at 11:45pm in the G-Tech Theater in the Austin Convention Center. That said, that venue is substantially smaller than the Paramount (about 800 seats smaller), so SXSW has cautioned “if you have an individual ticket and don’t get in, you WILL be refunded at the G-Tech Box Office, or you can go to the Paramount Box Office for a refund tomorrow.”

Reports of last night’s screening say it wasn’t entirely a bust, though – the audience seemed to dig director Sebastian Gutierrez‘s followup to last year’s SXSW entry Women in Trouble, and Gutierrez took the stage with his star-studded cast to kill time until festival planners had to concede defeat.
