Make a Film in a Weekend (M.A.F.I.A.) Festival consists of screenings of the film projects that were sponsored two weekends ago by the Cinemaker Co-op in which more than 50 participants had a two-day deadline in which to make three-minute-long, one-reel, in-camera-edited Super-8 films ­ which also had to feature an unidentified mystery prop. These screenings are the culmination of that project. No one ­ not even the filmmakers ­ has seen these films. The films screen in two separate programs. Films will be split into two programs that will screen once a night.
