Bill and Karen: An American Love Story

American Love Story is a nine-part series of 54-minute episodes of director Fox’s intimate portrait of a marriage. The series focuses on Bill Sims and Karen Wilson, a black man and a white woman couple who struggle against racial stereotypes while keeping their family together. The film follows them over a year and a half and chronicles their lives. Segments 1 and 3 will screen at 6:30; segments 7 and 9 will screen at 9:30 Jennifer Fox will be in attendance for Q&As following the films. (See related interview in this week’s Screens section.)
