Former Austinite and Les Blank collaborator Maureen Gosling will be back for a two-day presentation raising funds for the completion of her Bamako Chic: The Woman Cloth Dyers of Mali. On Sunday, Oct. 2, Vulcan Video presents a screening of Ousmane Sembene’s Moolaadé at the Alamo Drafthouse Downtown (409 Colorado, 476-1320), as well as a preview of Bamako Chic, while on Monday, Oct. 3, the Austin Film Society shows Gosling’s Blossoms of Fire in the AFS screening room at Austin Studios (1901 E. 51st).
