DéJà Vu?

Screenwriters James Herzfeld (Meet the Deedles) and John Hamburg (Safe Men) retooled the 1992 cult comedy Meet the Parents into a slick Hollywood slapstick comedy. Ben Stiller plays Greg Focker, male nurse, whose bonding time with the in-laws-to-be (Robert De Niro and Blythe Danner) turns into a weekend from hell. Jay Roach (Austin Powers) directs… Sylvester Stallone stars as a mob enforcer in an updating of the 1971 British thriller Get Carter, which brings back the original film’s lead, Michael Caine, for a supporting role… Elizabeth Hurley plays the devil and Brendan Fraser is the sap who sells his soul for coolness in Bedazzled, a remake of the 1967 comedy which starred Dudley Moore and the film’s screenwriter Peter Cook… Under Suspicion is an American take on the 1981 French thriller Garde à Vue, itself based on John Wainwright’s book. This crime drama stars Gene Hackman as a rich lawyer accused of murder; Morgan Freeman plays the cop trying to trap him.
