Negin Farsad and Dean Obeidallah in Comedy Vanguard award-winner The Muslims Are Coming!

In one of its final acts of official festival business, the Austin Film Festival announced its Audience Award recipients, with David O. Russell’s Oscar buzz magnet Silver Linings Playbook taking the prize for Marquee Feature favorite.

AFF also announced the dates for next year’s festival – Oct. 24-31, 2013 – so mark your calendars now.
