In addition to co-directing, Zahedi stars in this humorous reflection on love and infatuation, in which a shy and awkward art-school student determines to win the love of a classmate. Filmed in black-and-white, the movie offers a deadpan take on youthful angst. (NR, 83 min.). Also showing is Leche (1998) D: Naomi Uman. Leche is an anecdotal documentary that was hand-processed and dried on a clothesline. It details the lives of one Mexican family.
