A whole gaggle of talents appear in this anti-Spartacus comedy that tells the story of a slave in ancient Rome, who connives to win his freedom. Owing more to slapstick than history, this movie is an adaptation of the play By Larry Gelbart and Burt Shevelove, and features songs by Stephen Sondheim.
