The sixth annual UT Student Film Showcase previews this weekend in Austin before screening later this month at the DGA Theatre in Los Angeles. Highlights include Alejandro Gomez’s “Waiting for Trains,” Bennie Klain’s “Yada Yada,” Heather Courtney’s documentary “The Workers,” Laura Dunn’s documentary “Green,” and Helen Lee’s “Sophie.” In addition to these award-winning films, excerpts from other student films will be included.
