The Austin Film Society proudly announces the recipients of the 1999 Texas Filmmakers’ Production Fund. Visiting panelists James Benning, Loretta Todd, and Adam Goldberg awarded a total of $50,000, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, in grants to 32 Texas filmmakers in Austin, Brownsville, Dallas, El Paso, Galveston, and San Antonio. Now entering its fourth year, the Fund is financed with revenues raised by the Austin Film Society through benefit premieres and private and corporate donations. Applications for TFPF2000 will be available next April.
