Behold! Creative bacon dishes to a small paper plate near you! The crème de la crème of sold-out foodie ventures: the Bacon & Beer Festival, held Sunday, January 25 in Austin, Texas, paired craft brews with the bites from popular Central Texas chefs and restaurants. -
Upon arrival guests were greeted warmly by staff and their very own brews cup with accompanying spork for optimal bacon eatery. -
The local craft boys of Greenhouse cooked up an elaborate bacon chowder with jalapeño purée and honey bacon croutini -

Hosted inside the the wide open spaces of Fair Market, the fest attracted a large crowd of bacon and beer lovers -

Celtic Seafare provided salmon/bacon-wrapped jalapeños stuffed with pimento goat cheese to, as they say ”enjoy with your beer.” -
It was a packed house at this years festival. Proceeds benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. -
