Texas lawmakers seem to have an obsession with sex. How can they limit the amount of sex people have, or even the amount of masturbating that goes on, in our great state? The laws on the books don’t take it far enough for some members of the Legislature. Of all U.S. states, Texas already has some of the most restrictions on birth control access, porn, and sex toys – not to mention bans on homosexuality that are still in place, though they are trumped by federal law for now.

In this issue, we take a look at some of the most extreme sex-restricting bills filed in the 89th legislative session so far, plus one law passed last session which has been challenged for two years and now finds itself in the hands of the U.S. Supreme Court.
