The Travis Co. citizens bond advisory committee is considering $45 million of parks and open space projects for a possible November 2005 bond election. This includes $16 million for water conservation land acquisition in the Hamilton Pool area (No. 5) and near Onion Creek in the Southeast (No. 7). $6.5 million in improvements to a southwest metropolitan park (No. 4) would also include some land acquisition.

1. NE Metro Park Phase III Construction: $4,500,000

2. East Metro Park Phase II Construction: $5,700,000

3. Arkansas Bend Park Redevelopment: $9,300,000

4. SW Metro Park Phase II Land Acquisition and Construction: $6,500,000

5. Water Quality Protection Agreements: $10,000,000

6. SE Metro Park Public-Private Partnership: $3,400,000

7. Onion Creek Greenway: $6,000,000

Total Project Estimate (preliminary): $45,400,000
