The scorching temperatures getting you down? Here are some end-of-summer pick-me-ups.

This week on The Austin Chronicle Show, Kevin Curtin talks about his favorite songs to wind down summer and Jessi Cape previews Sunday’s Hot Sauce Festival. And considering the two of them are our most prolific cannabis reporters, we weren’t going to miss the opportunity to ask them about how near (or far) we are to legalization in Texas, plus the proliferation of CBD shops in Austin.

For copyright reasons, we had to edit out the clips of the six songs in Kevin’s end-of-summer playlist, but you can hear them in full via Spotify below. Just listen for the staticky alien sound effect and you’ll know when to pause to switch over to the playlist.
