The results may have been controversial, but that hasn’t stopped the Dem candidates in Travis County from showing off the new feathers in their cap. Last week was the Super Bowl of local politics, with both the Travis County Democratic Party and Austin Progressive Coalition holding multi-club endorsement forums. (The nine groups abbreviated below: Austin Environmental Democrats, Austin Progressive Coalition, Austin Tejano Democrats, Austin Young Democrats, Capital Area Asian American Democrats, Capital Area Progressive Democrats, Central Austin Democrats, South Austin Democrats, University Democrats). Add a handful of union and PAC nods, and it was a busy week for campaign Twitter fingers.
