The Austin in Focus team of FOX 7’s Crystal Cotti, KLBJ 590’s Steve Pickering, and the Chron‘s own Dollar Wells tread to Progress Coffee to gab this week. Topics are the mayor’s assault plea, Villa Muse shenanigans (in which I misspoke – I shoulda said, by any reasonable standard, it shouldn’t be DOA), and the city’s cross-referencing vehicle registrations with tickets and whatnot. Plus, as an added bonus, I got to meet Coen brothers regular and Homicide: Life on the Street alum Joe Polito, who was there to promote his SXSW film, The Marconi Bros. So that was cool.
