So what of that vanishing budget policy discussion? As noted below, it’s nowhere to be found on this week’s City Council agenda. A call to the city revealed it’s been pushed back to council’s next meeting, June 7 (their meeting next week being canceled).

Sure seems a little odd to us; what with this huge budget, err, forecast gap of $27 million being projected, wouldn’t you want as much time as possible to wrestle all the numbers?

Oh well, you can’t manufacture a budget “crisis” without a time crunch, we guess.
