• Austin got off to a rocky start this morning. Seven people were injured this morning in a Capital Metro bus crash.
• A couple of hours later, news broke that an acid bomb was found at Burnet Middle School.
• Worst of all, we were then made aware of a Los Angeles Times story calling Gov. Rick Perry a “comeback kid.” The horror never stops.
• All this was followed by KUT reporter Erika Aguilar sending out a very cryptic tweet. What does she know? Are all of these events interconnected? Does this have something to do with the ending of Lost? Is Perry a smoke monster?
• The BBC might want to reconsider sending people our way until this all blows over.
• KVUE recently chatted with the Statesman, who told them that “officials’ say Austin’s bag ban makes shoplifting easier. These “officials” heard the news from retail store managers who read the entire thing on Breitbart.
• Elsewhere in Austin, charity Mobile Loaves and Fishes plans to set-up a RV Park for the disabled homeless.
• Our own Richard Whittaker got twelve votes in both the best and the worst categories of the Texas Tribulation‘s Capitol Press Corps Poll. The poll also revealed that almost no one likes the Texas Tribune‘s Jay Root.
• Tesla Motors is building a charging station between Dallas and Austin. In related news, sales are down after drivers realized how much time they would have to spend near Waco.
