• The University of Texas and the City Council are looking at using alleys for affordable housing. Although typically such settlements are called shanty towns, ours will have organic sorrel.

• The recently canned members of the Texas Water Development Board say lawmakers didn’t consult with them before restructuring their department. Worse yet, Gov. Rick Perry has stopped inviting them to his famous candlelight suppers.
